Mapping tool is named one of 2013's top government innovations

Chicago's Department of Innovation and Technology is using ESRI mapping technologies as part of a broad-spectrum situational-awareness program called WindyGrid, which allows officials to manage 911 and 311 calls, monitor asset locations and track Twitter chatter. The system has won recognition as one of the top government innovations of 2013.
