McDonald's puts steak on the morning menu

McDonald's began offering steak as a meat option on its breakfast sandwiches at select locations last month and will roll it out to 9,600 of the chain's 14,100 U.S. units in the coming days, a spokeswoman said Monday. Steak is part of a larger strategy to shake up the menu with new offerings at both the value and premium ends, said analyst Bryan Elliott.
