President seeks support on Syria

President Barack Obama is set to take his case for a strike on Syria to the American people, and is calling on support from lawmakers for action against the Bashar al-Assad regime for using chemical weapons on civilians. The president plans a broadcast from the White House Tuesday to lay out his arguments for a limited missile strike, but some on Capitol Hill say he may be hard pressed to win sufficient backing.
