Sens. Wyden, Hoeven tour N.D. energy facilities

Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., got a first-hand look at energy facilities and operations in North Dakota, including a natural gas facility and oil fields. "I really wanted to get him out and show what's going on in North Dakota," said Sen. John Hoeven, R-N.D., who accompanied Wyden during the tour. Hoeven said he seeks to convince Wyden that "a state's first approach to energy development can do a good job developing energy for the country" and that it can be accomplished while protecting the environment.
