WSWA report: Arizona wine, spirits industry generates $2.8 billion

Arizona's burgeoning wine and spirits industry generates $2.8 billion for the state's economy each year, including $1.7 billion that impacts the transportation, retail, agriculture and travel industries, a recent WSWA report found. The state's wine industry employs 15,500 people and contributes nearly $340 million in business and consumer taxes to the state, WSWA reported.
