Kentucky teachers upset about health plan consider strike

On Sept. 17, the Kentucky Education Association will decide whether to stage a strike on Sept. 30 about the governor's new state health insurance plan. Although the Association has begun polling its members to assess their support for a walkout, court orders dating back to 1970 bar the group from striking.
