Lack of free outdoor play hurts children's health

The decline in loosely supervised outdoor play is harming children, say 300 British mental health experts, education leaders and academics in an open letter to a British newspaper. Increasing parent anxiety over abduction as well as the popularity of computers and video games contribute to the problem, the letter said.
