Japan's prices for corporate goods rose 7.2% last month

The Bank of Japan announced that the country's corporate-goods prices increased 7.2% in August. Rising prices of energy and raw materials prompted the growth. Consumer inflation is expected to continue rising but at a slower pace because companies decided not to pass on wholesale-price increases to consumers.
