Study: Continued warfarin treatment safe during coronary angiography

Patients can continue to receive warfarin treatment before undergoing coronary angiography in most cases, contrary to existing guidelines, according to a new study. The study showed that uninterrupted warfarin therapy did not increase the risk of access-site or bleeding complications.
