Verizon, AT&T cozy up to social nets

Verizon and AT&T unveiled their own versions of social-networking aggregation platform that allow subscribers to tap into a broad aggregation of online social networks in a single stroke so that they can retrieve updates, messages and other relevant features of the sites. While Verizon will charge $1.99 a month for its "SocialLife" service and AT&T's "My Communities" will cost $2.99 monthly, neither of the Intercasting-powered platforms will feature the popular Facebook service.
