ConocoPhillips exec sees Australia becoming major LNG exporter by 2020:

Australia has the potential to become the largest exporter of liquefied natural gas in the world by 2020, said ConocoPhillips executive Joseph Marushack. His statement came after Chevron announced that it landed three deals to provide Asian companies with about 3 million tons of LNG annually from its Gorgon venture in Australia. Marushack, president of ConocoPhillips' Australian unit, said he expects a final investment decision for its Gladstone LNG venture in Queensland to be made by the end of next year.
