Hijacking shines light on security issue:

The hijacking of a Mexican airliner is focusing media attention on the issue of airport security. Mike McCarron, a spokesman for the San Francisco International Airport, told a local reporter that security can vary greatly from country to country, but that airlines must "meet or exceed" the standards of the country in which they are operating. British Airways, Virgin Airlines and El-Al are among the airlines with the tightest security, he said.
