House to hold hearing today on CFATS progress

The House Committee on Energy and Commerce is scheduled to hold a hearing today on the Chemical Facilities Anti-Terrorism Standards program, and the Department of Homeland Security is expected to provide updates on its progress. Among the scheduled witnesses is Timothy Scott, chief security officer at Dow Chemical, whose prepared testimony on behalf of Dow and the American Chemistry Council has been posted online.
