Sprint eyes major LTE push in "coming months"

Sprint Nextel on Monday offered an imprecise target for an aggressive push of its new Long-Term Evolution network into 100 more markets that will include New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston and Washington, D.C. The carrier, whose LTE network now covers 19 major cities, has set the end of next year as its goal for replacing its 3G network with 4G cell sites.
