2 groups return ACA navigator grants

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center returned a $124,419 grant to HHS because center staff are ineligible to serve as navigators under an Ohio law that forbids entities that negotiate with insurers from serving as navigators, a medical center spokesman said. West Virginia Parent Training and Information returned $365,758 due to "unforeseen circumstances," the group's executive director said. Jim Esquea, HHS assistant secretary for legislation, sent a letter to lawmakers in response to a request for detailed information on the navigator organizations.
