EarthLink announced it will piggyback on Clearwire's WiMAX network to introduce wireless residential broadband service as a supplement to the mobile service the company launched in June in 80 U.S. markets. The company's 4G Internet-at-Home requires customers to buy an $80 WiMAX modem that includes 20 hours of free dial-up Internet service. Earthlink will offer two packages, one priced at $30 and a speedier service with a higher data limit at $50 a month.
