EasyJet ready for competition from Europe's legacy carriers

EasyJet continues to attract corporate fliers on short-haul routes, and CEO Carolyn McCall expects more competition in the European market over the next five years. Still, stocks have increased 77% this year and the carrier is staying strong in its niche. "I don’t see why any legacy carrier would want to continue losing money on short-haul when it can be done better by other carriers, except to feed their long-haul," she said.
