Former Japanese PM Kan, TEPCO execs won't face charges in Fukushima Daiichi incident

Former Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan and former Tokyo Electric Power executives won't be indicted over their response to the 2011 Fukushima Daiichi nuclear incident, Japanese prosecutors have decided. "It was difficult to foresee the scale of the earthquake and tsunami," the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office said. Kan called the decision "a natural outcome."
