McDonald's tests mobile ordering app

McDonald's has launched a two-city test of a mobile application that lets customers order and pay from their smartphones, then pick up their food curbside, in the store or at the drive-thru. The move comes as limited-service chains look for new ways to boost sales, including Chipotle, which already boasts a mobile ordering app, and Burger King, which recently launched a delivery service in some cities.
