Moody's: Strong India exports no substitute for reform

Moody's Analytics is unimpressed by India's recently strong export figures, saying the real test resides in the question of "whether authorities have the will to enact reforms when global financial markets are volatile and investors are notably less tolerant." Moody's said that like Indonesia, India's government failed to address long-standing structural issues even during a time of strong capital inflows and now faces the prospect of doing so under less favorable circumstances.
