Survey shows high career satisfaction rates among docs

Data from the 2013 Great American Physician Survey revealed majority of responding doctors expressed satisfaction with their career choices, and 60% said they would still choose the profession if given the option to reconsider. However, 37% of physicians said inadequate insurance coverage was among the biggest hurdles in providing quality health care for their patients, and 19% noted that insufficient time to inform patients about better health strategies was a key factor. The findings were published in Physicians Practice.
