Flavonoids: Good for your health and taste good, too

A new study shows typically bitter-flavored flavonoids, which occur naturally in plant foods, can improve taste while reducing the risk of heart disease. The improvement is apparent when flavonoids are added to food and beverages that are heated for safety or preservation, research indicates.
