New compendium spotlights research on girls in science, tech

The National Science Foundation has published a book summarizing 211 grant projects designed to increase girls' participation in science, math, technology and engineering. The book describes each project and provides contact information that allows educators to network with program leaders, participate in research studies and obtain lesson plans.
