Educators struggle to teach lessons of Sept. 11

As the country marks the five-year anniversary of Sept. 11, educators seem to be split over whether to emphasize patriotic values or question U.S. foreign policy when they discuss the attacks in class. Queens College and the World Trade Center United Family Group are jointly developing high school multimedia materials that teachers can either use on the attacks' anniversary or incorporate into their American history curriculum.
