Customers looking for discounts can now use their cell phones to sign up for electronic coupons via mobile marketing company Cellfire rather than cut coupons from newspapers. Consumers can obtain discounts by presenting coupons displayed on their cell phone screens to the cashier. Marketers who enroll in Cellfire's service initially pay a base fee that increases as more people choose their coupons. To date, a million consumers have subscribed to the service.
