Major changes not expected at Yahoo!

Yahoo! co-founder Jerry Yang took over as company chief executive in June, promising to retool the Web portal to compete with Google. One possible change suggested was the outsourcing of its search advertising to generate additional search revenue and reduce operating costs, but that move reportedly was a nonstarter with Yang, who wants Yahoo! to remain the "marketing operating system" for its advertisers.
