Federal regulators reject Pennsylvania's plan to put tolls on I-80

Federal regulators are rejecting Pennsylvania's plan to put tolls on Interstate 80 because the proposal does not meet technical and statutory requirements. As a result, Gov. Ed Rendell is now urging lawmakers to approve the privatization of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Rendell said leasing the turnpike is a primary option for replacing transportation funding.
