A review of "The Body Toxic" by Nena Baker calls the book "both instructive and infuriating." The book shows how society has embraced chemical-laden concepts such as weed killers and nonstick frying pans without looking too hard at their side effects, but it doesn't effectively make the argument that chemicals are actually harmful in the tiny concentrations found in the environment.
