Can the fashion world leverage social media?

The fashion industry, in order to stay relevant, needs to reach beyond traditional print outlets to embrace social media, according to graduate student Katie Hillier, a summer associate at the IPG Emerging Media Lab in Los Angeles. Toward that end, Hillier recommends six essential social sites for fashion marketers: Shopflick, Us Trendy, StyleCaster, Sense of Fashion, Est.Today and Style Hop.
