Engineering intern to monitor Pittsburgh's City-County Building

An engineering intern from Carnegie Mellon University plans to track the energy usage of the City-County Building in Pittsburgh. The project will install sensors in the nine-floor building to monitor energy usage and make recommendations for improving energy efficiency. Pittsburgh received about $3 million in stimulus funds to update the 1920s-era structure.
