Foxwoods still faces hurdles for Pennsylvania casino

Protests and financial constraints continue to affect the construction of a casino planned by Foxwoods Development in Pennsylvania. The company recently received an extended gaming license, and the casino is expected to open in May 2011. However, residents opposed to the casino continue to protest openly, and the Mashantucket Pequot tribe, which runs the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut, is unable to contribute additional funds to the project.
