Research: Hormones not the reason for chocolate cravings

Women who crave chocolate as they approach menopause are not influenced by hormones, but rather by the stress and discomfort of menopause, researchers say. Data suggest that if hormones were the cause, the cravings would decrease by about 38% after menopause started. Instead, the decrease was found to be 13.4%.
