Special-education teacher is honored for her work

Early childhood special-education teacher Kay Zastrow has been named Wisconsin's Special Services Teacher of the Year. Among other accomplishments, Zastrow is credited by superiors with initiating inclusive policies. "For special-needs students, being with their peers in natural environments is really how they will grow and learn the best," Zastrow said.
