Town's first out alderman is raising awareness of LGBT issues

Scott Tinsley-Hall, an openly gay Republican alderman in the conservative town of Jacksonville, Ill., is using his office as a kind of bully pulpit for LGBT issues, according to this article. Tinsley-Hall is the sponsor of a bill that would add sexual orientation to the town's anti-bias law.
