Dow Corning and Hemlock Semiconductor Group are benefiting from the Responsible Care Security Code that the American Chemistry Council adopted in response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The security program requires chemical-plant employees to undergo security training to be prepared for potential terror threats. "These security measures are not a journey where you have a beginning point and an ending point. We work for continuous improvement," said Kevin Kendrick, vice president for global security at Dow Corning.
