IAG eyes acquisition of bmi from Lufthansa

International Airlines Group is considering acquiring bmi from Lufthansa. The main driver is the airline's premium slots at London's Heathrow Airport. "[IAG CEO Willie Walsh] has made it very clear we are interested in bmi in terms of slots. The ball is now in Lufthansa's court."
