2 Kansas towns pave way for Google Fiber expansion

Google won approvals on Monday from city councils in Mission Hills and Fairway, Kan., to bring its gigabit Internet network and subscription TV services to those Kansas City suburbs, Google Fiber disclosed in a blog post. The company did not provide details on a time frame for the services' introduction. Google plans to introduce the Fiber service to Provo, Utah, and Austin, Texas, by mid-2014.
