5 aquifers with enough water to supply 40M discovered beneath Kenya

Enough groundwater to support 40 million people has been found deep below Kenya's arid Turkana County, according to a survey by Radar Technologies commissioned by the Kenyan government. The survey found five previously unknown aquifers holding 66 trillion gallons of groundwater, which would greatly benefit the drought-prone region if it can be extracted sustainably.
