b.good aims to build a national franchise with local fare

Boston-based burger chain b.good launched in 2004, grew to 10 corporate stores and began selling its first franchises in 2012, with a concept that features seasonal local produce, meat ground on-site and condiments made from scratch. Co-founder Jon Olinto said it's a challenge to stick to the concept as the franchise program expands geographically, a process that means connecting with farmers, suppliers and distributors that can feed the demand for local fare.
