Garmin aims to curb distracted driving with windshield map view

Garmin has introduced navigation technology built into a vehicle's windshield that allows drivers to receive visual directions from their smartphones without having to look at their screens. The device, which is compatible with iPhone, Android and Windows Phone handsets, deploys Bluetooth technology to project the application onto the front glass as a way of reducing driver distraction.
