House tax writers moving ahead with reforms

The chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee says he expects his panel to pass a tax-reform bill out by the end of the year. Rep. Dave Camp, R-Mich., said there is still plenty of time for the committee to act this fall, despite the urgency of dealing with possible military action in Syria. The committee is expected to hold as many as six meetings on rewriting the tax code in the coming weeks.
