Mars, Kraft take trademark battle to Swedish Supreme Court

Mondelez International's Swedish subsidiary Kraft Foods Sverige is battling Mars in court over Mars' use of the "M" trademark for M&Ms. Kraft claims it holds the "M" trademark for a peanut product under its Marabou brand. Both companies are seeking a Swedish Supreme Court ruling to overturn earlier appeals court rulings that canceled Kraft's Swedish trademark for "M" and partially annulled Mars' trademark for M&Ms.
