Mich. lawmakers consider online sales tax collection

A Michigan House committee has voted to send two bills dealing with online sales tax to the full House. The bills would require many online retailers to collect the state's 6% sales tax, which some lawmakers say would level the playing field with brick-and-mortar retailers.
