Seattle airport to install automated gate exits

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport announced plans to install automated gate exits, a $6.4 million system that can sense if passengers change direction or enter from the wrong way. "This new technology supports our No. 1 priority: keeping passengers safe and secure," said Tom Albro, president of the Port of Seattle Commission.
