SEC is rethinking how it organizes its enforcement unit

The Securities and Exchange Commission's co-head of enforcement, Andrew Ceresney, says the agency will realign its enforcement units. The SEC has begun the reshaping at its structured-products unit, which has refocused its emphasis on "complex financial instruments," including credit rating agencies, collateralized loan obligations, derivatives and exchange-traded funds.
