Trend Micro: Hackers can pick on Firefox OS's HTML5 weakness

Mozilla's new Firefox operating system for mobile devices might be vulnerable to specific HTML5 attacks by hackers picking on the Boot to Gecko reliance, according to Trend Micro. Peter Pi, Trend Micro's threats analyst, says the weakness is less Mozilla's problem than endemic to HTML5 programming. "[R]egardless of OS, we can expect that as more apps and sites will use HTML5, we can expect such attacks to increase in the future."
