Eateries take steps to save resources

Some Connecticut eateries are choosing more sustainable practices because they are socially conscious, while others are hoping to decrease their energy costs, according to a survey of nine restaurants. Max Fish in Glastonbury, Conn., goes all out with measures such as the installation of water-efficient dishwashers and waterless urinals and a ban on bottled water.
