Former Holiday Inn exec named CMO at Kmart

Mark Snyder, formerly InterContinental Hotels Group's SVP of global brand management for its Holiday Inn banner, has been named VP-CMO of Kmart, a unit of Sears Holdings. Snyder takes over the post from Bill Stewart, who is volunteering full-time on a campaign to defeat a constitutional gay-marriage ban in California.
