3 women discuss starting a business during a recession

When Kay Frandsen was laid off from her job, she had the same thought that comes to the mind of many entrepreneurs: "I will never be an employee for anybody else. I will take control of my future and my life. It's up to me," she said. Frandsen opened her home-furnishings consignment store last year. She and two other female business owners give advice about how they started their own businesses and what it takes to succeed.
