California school says eChalk system improves communication

The Web-based communications-management system eChalk makes it easier for students and teachers to communicate, according to officials at a California high school. Educators say the system also has helped improve communication with parents. "[Students are] able to connect with teachers throughout the day, even outside school hours," the school's principal said. "It just gives the students a more well-rounded experience, similar to what they'll experience in college."
